President of Passage Nautical – Deborah Reynolds

For over 30 years, Deborah Reynolds has had the great privilege of helping people get on the water and enjoy one of the most exhilarating and beautiful sports. Boating is a sport of passion, and all my team shares in this passion, to help people realize their boating dreams, from finding them the very best boat for their purpose to providing extended service way beyond the purchase for many years to come.

My goal has always been to provide people with the opportunities and services to get them enjoying the sport. From day one, I understood that my business is not a sales business, it’s a matchmaking business – finding the best boating opportunities and marrying that to people’s dreams.

In 2015, we realized a dream of mine for my business with the launch of our charter fleet, ASA certified sailing school and RPA powerboat training academy. I am excited to offer people a new and flexible way to learn and boat without the constraints of traditional boat clubs, standardized classes and expensive fee-based programs. We are creating new features every month to find ways to fit the way people need to boat given today’s hectic schedules and over booked lifestyles. Learning to boat and boating should not be another to do – it should be an escape from all that.

I am proud to offer the world’s leading brands with Beneteau and Lagoon with over 130 years and 30 years, respectively, of boat building excellence. I truly believe that the value they offer is unparalleled. Given our company’s long history of boat sales in the Bay, we have had our pick of brands. In keeping with my commitment to service and value, we have chosen to stay with these brands exclusively. Their commitment to owner satisfaction and long term relationships fits who we are and our commitments.

I think this recent note I received from a long time client best sums us up:

“…I never thought I’d be able to have my own sailboat again. We have come so far from the lows of the bubble, but when I walked into your office in August and we started talking about how I might be able to do this, you really helped me. You didn’t sell a boat. It was much, much more. You helped me find a way to take care of the last unfinished piece of putting things back together. Somewhere in your materials, you say I help people’s dream come true, or something like that. Well, in my case, you really did that. I am proud of our friendship, which now spans 25 years, and now a second boat. Thank you so much, Debbie. You made me so happy.”

I can say proudly that all my team shares in these values of service and friendship. And, my cell is always on if you’re not getting the service you want and deserve!
