I grew up in Albany, New York, and was not able to indulge in my desire for boating until I learned how to sail after college; when I was hired to work on a sailing school vessel in New Bedford, Massachusetts.  That was just the beginning of my life on the water! From there I spent the next 13 years working on all manner of sailboats and powerboats ranging in size from 40 feet to 300 feet.  After obtaining a culinary degree and a 100ton USCoast Guard Captain’s license I was kept busy working on charter boats and as a delivery crew worldwide.

I moved to Sausalito in 2013 to ‘settle down’, start a business, and sail in my free time.  After 7 years I have shifted once again and gone back to my boating roots by joining Passage Nautical. I am thrilled to be back on the water and helping people connect with a lifestyle I have always loved!

“I could not be more pleased with the service Sam provided in the sale of my Beneteau 35. As much as I enjoyed the boat, it became impractical for me early in the pandemic but a previous year’s worth of listings with another broker generated no legitimate interest. Thanks to Sam’s guidance and hard work, not only did I quickly start getting interest but we were able to close the sale within a few months at a price that exceeded my expectations”
