First 24

The First 24 offers style, versatility, ease of use, and sensational performance. It’s trailerable and is guaranteed to redefine the pleasure of sailing. Her clever layout makes her a comfortable boat for up to six crew on a coastal cruise and eight crew for day sailing activities.

Designed by Sam Manuard, the First 24 is a high-performance daysailer with a modern hard-chine hull. She is very easy to handle, with a dinghy feeling at the helm, and is fast on all points of sail.  Most of the running rigging is led aft to the two winches which makes trimming easy and convenient. The First 24 performs well in light and medium air, progressing moderately and with ease at speeds of 15 knots. She has a swing keel that lifts completely, making her readily transportable and easy to launch, so mooring in shallow waters is always an option.

Below deck, the interior is open with a large forward double berth and single berths port and starboard.  An ingenious cushion system means you can unite the two single berths to turn them into a double berth. The table can be carried in a bag and set up inside or outside in the cockpit and can be left on shore to make the boat lighter for racing. A small galley with hob and icebox, chemical toilet and an electric pack combined with solar panels make the yacht fully autonomous.

A great choice for family cruising and racing.
