The cost to charter a yacht depends upon the size of the yacht, they type of yacht (power or sail) the number of guests onboard, and the number of hours chartered. For most recreational charters, you are limited to 12 passengers (guests). There are three types of yachts to charter: power yacht, sailing yacht (monohull), and catamaran sailing yacht (multihull). (See our post on how they differ)
Power yachts require more fuel than sailing yachts so usually cost more for the same size yacht. Catamarans are usually more expensive than monohull sailing yachts. For groups of 12, rates range from about $1800 to $2400 for 4 hour charter. For small groups yachts range from $600 to $1100 for a 4 hour charter.
We have three fleet locations, Oakland, Sausalito and Pt. Richmond. We pick up guests in San Francisco by special request. Our fleets are located in easy access locations where parking is easily available and other services are acessible.
Unlike other charter companies who charge corkage fees or restrict bringing your own alcohol on board, we allow you to bring your own, and there is never a corkage fee. You can bring your own food on board. We provide service items like plates, napkins, cups and silverware so you have all you need for service.
We have delicious catering options if you want a turnkey experience, as well as bartenders who can create custom cocktails and personalized service.
