The Bay Bridge glows, the skyline shimmers, and the anticipation of midnight adds a little electricity to the air.

As the countdown approaches, gather your favorite people, raise your glasses, and get ready for the main event. Ten, nine, eight… HAPPY NEW YEAR! Fireworks burst across the midnight sky, reflecting off the Bay as you toast to 2027, new adventures, and everything waiting just beyond the horizon.

And when the fireworks fade the magic doesn’t end. Just your music, your people, and a beautiful cruise back beneath the city lights.

What makes this different from a regular fireworks cruise?

Everything about it is personal! Instead of buying tickets to a crowded boat, you’re reserving an entire yacht for your own celebration.

Choose your people, put on your favorite playlist, bring your favorite extras, and enjoy a beautifully hosted evening with sparkling wine, delicious food, personalized astrology readings, and comfortable places to gather. No fighting for a seat or sharing your celebration with strangers.

Is the yacht just for our group?

Absolutely! This is your private New Year’s Eve celebration. No strangers, no shared tickets, just your favorite people and your own captain and crew. The King & I, Hullchal, and Astra accommodate up to 12 guests. Little Miss Magic welcomes up to 10.

How long is the charter?

Four wonderful hours on San Francisco Bay! Plenty of time to settle in, put on your favorite playlist, enjoy delicious bites and sparkling wine, cruise past the illuminated skyline, and celebrate with fireworks at midnight.

What does the price include?

We’ve taken care of the details so you can enjoy the party! Your package includes the private yacht, fuel, cleaning, captain and crew, gratuity, onboard service, and our Step Aboard food selection, delivered and beautifully set up.

You’ll also enjoy six bottles of Roederer Estate L’Ermitage California sparkling wine, warming drinks, nonalcoholic beverages, artisan chocolates, and a personalized astrology reading for each guest who chooses one.

The price you see is the full price. Your captain and crew are paid directly to them, and that amount is already included in your total for reference.

What delicious things are we serving?

Our Step Aboard celebration package will be waiting when you arrive:

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Of course! It’s your party. You’re welcome to bring additional favorites, whether that’s a special bottle, a family treat, or something delicious to share.

There’s no corkage fee, and we’ll have ice, ice buckets, glasses, plates, and serving essentials ready for you.

Will we be warm?

Yes! All four yachts have heated cabins and protected gathering spaces, so you can enjoy the beauty of winter boating without spending the entire evening in the cold. You’ll also have access to outdoor viewing areas when conditions permit.

It’s still December on San Francisco Bay, so bring warm layers, a cozy jacket, a hat, and soft-soled shoes.

After booking, guests who’d like a reading can provide their birth date, time, and birthplace to our professional astrologer.

Your personal look at the year ahead will be printed on parchment, rolled, and tied with a ribbon, ready for you aboard. Open yours with your first glass of sparkling wine, share the fun with friends, or save the surprise for midnight.

Can we bring children?

Absolutely! New Year’s Eve on the Bay can be a wonderful family adventure. We carry children’s life jackets aboard. Please tell us the ages and sizes of younger guests when booking so we can confirm suitable life jackets and arrangements.

Where will we watch the fireworks?

From the waters of San Francisco Bay! Our charters are planned around the city’s New Year’s Eve fireworks, traditionally held at midnight.

Your captain will select the viewing area based on the official fireworks location, weather, marine traffic, and Coast Guard safety requirements. We’ll position the yacht for the best safe viewing experience conditions allow.

What if someone gets seasick?

Most guests are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they feel aboard. We stay inside San Francisco Bay, where conditions are generally calmer than the open ocean, and our catamarans, Hullchal and Astra, are especially steady.

If you’re prone to motion sickness, eat a light meal before boarding, enjoy the fresh air, keep your eyes on the horizon, and take your preferred preventive remedy before departure.

We’ve got tried-and-true remedies, too! We keep a collection of motion-comfort essentials aboard, including ginger treats, soothing drinks, and other helpful supplies. Our experienced crew is happy to help you feel more comfortable so you can get back to enjoying the celebration.

How do we reserve our yacht?

Choose your favorite yacht and send us a reservation request. We’ll check availability, confirm the details, and send your deposit instructions.

Payment schedule:

• At booking: A 50% deposit on the yacht portion reserves your yacht.
• November 30: Remaining yacht balance due.
• December 15: Step Aboard food and sparkling wine package payment due.
• December 26: Captain and crew payment due directly to the crew.

If you book after November 30, the full yacht cost is due at booking. If you book after December 15, the food and sparkling wine package is due at booking too.

We’ll walk you through everything.

What if the weather or fireworks don’t cooperate?

Your safety always comes first, and your captain makes the final decision about whether conditions are suitable for sailing.

If we need to cancel because of unsafe weather, your payment becomes a credit toward a future private charter of the same value, valid for 12 months. We’ll even add a bottle of L’Ermitage to your rescheduled celebration.

If San Francisco changes or cancels the fireworks, the charter is still scheduled to sail, weather permitting. You’ll still have the illuminated skyline, sparkling wine, great company, and your own beautiful New Year’s Eve celebration on the Bay.

What if we need to cancel?

Plans change. We understand. Your eligible payments become a credit toward a future private charter, valid for 12 months. You can also transfer your New Year’s Eve reservation to friends or family with our approval.

We’ll explain the applicable conditions before you confirm your reservation.
