f you already have some sailing experience and want more time working on the skills that matter to you, our private lessons are designed for exactly that.

Maybe you want more practice docking in wind, reefing, navigating, sailing short-handed or handling a larger boat. Perhaps you’re moving from a monohull to a catamaran, returning to sailing after time away, or preparing for an international bareboat charter.

We start with what you already know and build the training around where you want to go.

We begin with your experience, the boat you’re preparing to operate and the skills you want to improve. That means you can spend an hour on docking if that’s what you need, repeat a maneuver until it makes sense, slow down to work through something difficult or move quickly through skills you already have.

The training follows your progress rather than a predetermined classroom schedule.
