At Passage Nautical, we create private corporate experiences for groups up to 40 guests, from relaxed afternoons and executive gatherings to celebrations and hosted team adventures.  Your next team outing doesn’t have to be another restaurant dinner or conference room gathering. Bring your people together on San Francisco Bay for an afternoon of remarkable scenery, good food, great company, and an experience worth sharing. The skyline, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate go by, the food and drinks are already aboard, and everyone has room to talk, wander and enjoy each other away from the office.

What the Day Looks Like

Your team walks down the dock and steps aboard. The crew casts off, and within a few minutes the city is behind you and the Bay opens up. Lunch might come out as you cruise toward Angel Island, or along the cityfront with the skyline above you. The people who boarded together drift apart and find each other again, some up at the bow, some around the table. Someone spots a container ship heading out the Gate. If you want a working session, the boat can settle at anchor somewhere quiet. If not, the afternoon simply carries on.

Every charter is shaped by the weather, the tide and what your group wants, so no two days are the same.

One Place Instead of Six

A typical offsite is a room, transport, an activity, more transport, a restaurant and then drinks, and the person organizing it holds every piece together all day. On the Bay, it all happens in one place. Once the lines are off, there’s nothing left to run, and the organizer gets to be one of the people having the day.

A few hours on the Bay with the people you work with every day. Cruise past Alcatraz, take in the skyline from the water and run out toward the Golden Gate, with lunch, California wines and local craft beers aboard.

A private yacht gives a leadership team somewhere quiet to think. Hold your conversation at anchor in a calm cove, then get underway and let the Bay do its work on everyone’s attention.

Company Celebrations & Client Events

Mark a milestone, recognize your people or host the clients who matter to you. Larger groups sail together on our 40-guest yacht, with room to mingle, food and drinks served throughout and the whole Bay as the backdrop.

Our regular fleet carries up to 12 guests per boat. Groups of 13 to 40 sail together on our largest yacht.

Want Something More Adventurous?

Our two themed team days bring some San Francisco history and a bit of rivalry into the afternoon, without turning it into a chore. The crew hosts one game of about twenty minutes. The rest of the time belongs to the food, the drinks and the Bay.

Escape to Alcatraz

The Bay’s most famous island sets the theme. Your team cruises past Alcatraz and Angel Island with a themed spread, The Prisoner wines and a crew-hosted challenge on the island’s history and its famous escape attempts. Split into teams, argue a little, commit to an answer, and see who makes it off the Rock.

San Francisco has always been built by people who worked hard and bet on bold ideas, from the forty-niners to the people in your office. This Gold Rush themed day celebrates that, with local food, signature drinks and a playful team challenge to see who strikes it rich.

We Take Care of the Details

Most companies want the whole day handled, and that’s what we do. We arrange the catering, the California wines, the local craft beers and anything special you want on the table, and it’s all aboard and set out before your team arrives. If someone in your office would rather plan the menu, they can order directly from our catering partners and we’ll pick up the drinks on the way to the boat.
